What we deliver
Governed products, not presentation layers
- Primary problem: reworking board, audit, and close numbers after the lakehouse was supposed to be authoritative. Administrative lag and fiduciary leakage are engineering failures, not soft process debt.
- Primary product: governed Gold-layer data products with lineage, contracts, and consumption adapters - not dashboards, not an open-ended agency staffing pitch, not asset management. Cash / controls / TCO / audit advisory is a separate thin SKU (Agency / Advisory).
- Gold outputs only through documented consumption adapters (workspace, Tableau, Power BI, Delta Sharing where allowed). Gold does not leave without a contract.
- Contract-backed definitions auditors, lenders, and board packs can trace.
Separate from product Gold:Agency / Advisorycovers cash, controls, TCO, and audit review patterns.
Who pays / current focus
IP, ability-to-pay filter, and the live STP path
IP: Ambient ships contract-backed Gold - ODCS-shaped contracts, Unity Catalog governance, consumption adapters. Ambient Core (MIT) is the inspectable distribution.
Who pays: Operator-side finance and FP&A buyers who feel board, audit, or lender pressure on numbers - not dashboard shoppers and not soft-freeze tire-kickers.
Commercial filter: Ability to pay before launch. Work the qualified STP overlap (live A = 142 finance FP&A contacts). Do not refill outreach from the broader people master (~7k).
Validation path: Leave a work email for a validation conversation. Approved accounts use Members. Public list pricing stays frozen until hub Stage 4 and Stage 5 gates pass.
How it works
Medallion path to contract-backed Gold
Assurance first. Ingest lands as traceable Bronze. Silver cleanses. Gold computes under versioned contracts so metrics stay defensible.
YAML / ODCS-shaped contracts define Gold products - schemas, quality, metric definitions, lineage, freshness. Workspace and BI read Gold only through consumption adapters. They do not redefine KPIs in the BI layer.
Databricks medallion plus Unity Catalog; GCP hosting. Principal-architect language, said plainly for operators. Details on Product and the wiki.
Platform options
Two products: ambient-core (MIT / Open Source Integrator) and ambient-systems-platform (Platform Subscriber / Command Centre). Core runs standalone with local Spark/Delta. Platform is the hosted commercial SKU that pins tagged core - it does not fork it.

Our history
Singapore roots, Hong Kong corporate presence
- Founded in Singapore on July 5, 2021 with pre-seed support from NUS GRIP; roots in NUS master's research in computer science (2020).
